SUSTAINABILITY ACTIVIST

“I want to foster creativity and innovation in sustainable fashion and help people make smarter choices for the environment. It’s exciting to be back at a time when the fashion industry is making monumental changes with both inclusivity and sustainability." A mother of two, Florence is coming back to modeling after a long pause. She is Franco-Japanese with Hispanic roots and grew up in Paris modeling at the age of 20.

Florence is a TV producer and a sustainability activist. She is one of the pioneer producers to introduce upcycling fashion on television. In 2010, she created the hit show Something Borrowed Something New where brides-to-be got a chance to redesign an heirloom dress and make it on-trend, once again, for their nuptials. The show ran for 60 episodes on TLC and sold to over 45 countries globally,  spawning upcycling trends on Etsy and across America. Her follow-up show Closet Genius inspired women to reinvent their style with upcycling and conscious fashion in mind.
