I am a spiritual warrior, truthseeker, nature lover, dream catcher, and a magic maker. I’m currently working towards creating inclusive wellness spaces for community healing & empowerment. I believe everyone, especially BIPOC, who are often excluded, should have affordable access to resources to aid them in healing and transforming their lives.
The summer after my college graduation, I took a life-changing trip to Malawi, Africa, and stayed at an orphanage with nearly 200 children. We laughed, exchanged stories, and played different sports games and lifestyle activities with them. Despite eating the same thing every day and having very few material possessions, these kids were happier than anyone I had ever met back home. They shifted my entire perspective on life and taught me that true joy is not how much money you have or how successful you are, but in being grateful for what you already have.
After Malawi, I began to explore yoga and meditation. Being a competitive athlete for nearly two decades, constantly pounding, beating, and pushing my body past its limits, I was beyond exhausted, and yoga was the perfect remedy. Not only was yoga healing for my physical body, but it was also my introduction into all things wellness. I completed a yoga teacher training in Costa Rica, adopted a more minimal and sustainable plant-based lifestyle, and continuously study various natural, holistic ways to heal and take care of the mind, body, and spirit.
