I’m Turner Outlaw (and I try not to live up to the name!). I have been studying theatre and film since I was in high school as I attended a performing arts high school in my hometown of Atlanta, GA. I then traveled to the west coast in order to pursue my acting career and currently study theatre and tv/film at the University of California in san Diego. I was scouted by a modeling agency during my freshman year and soon found it to be another passion of mine. Besides modeling I enjoy other hobbies such as running, reading, art and fashion. I have shot for brands such as Puma, New Balance, and Wish Atlanta. I hope to further develop my craft for both of my passions.
My life has been impacted by loss and I found healing through making deliberate lifestyle choices of change. After losing two grandparents to strokes and becoming aware of the connection between diet and health, I now follow a Plant Based Vegan lifestyle. I speak openly and often to others about the benefits of healthy eating, as well as exercise, and in a small way I’m honoring the legacy of my grandparents who followed a Pescatarian lifestyle. My older brother was lost to an opioid addiction for four years. It was during my brothers recovery that I decided to adopt a lifestyle free of mind altering substances. My brother came back and continues to be my hero with every day of his sobriety. Siblings often seem forgotten within the family support community and are the underrepresented victims. I want to support and help other siblings understand the trauma of growing up with a sibling battling the disease of addiction. I’m starting by developing a blog with the goal of enlightening other siblings and let them know that there is hope for a positive outcome.
