Meg and Komie Vora are impact designers, activists, luxury tastemakers + co-founders of the award-winning ethical label, Delikate Rayne (DR). The Vora sisters are a new type of hybrid talent that is especially relevant today- voices of color with meaning and purpose. Defying traditional Indian cultural stereotypes and gender expectations while pushing boundaries as brown creatives. Their ability to unify ethics, consciousness and humanity with a fresh perspective is constantly unmatched. Their unconventional upbringing (Jain + Hindi roots plus born & raised vegetarian- now vegan) alongside their affinity and advocacy for planet and animal rights has not only resulted in the creation of Delikate Rayne but yielded them as esteemed voices of the future of fashion. Having garnered attention from many elite trades including Forbes, NBC, HuffPost, WWD, Paper, The Los Angeles Times, E!, The Zoe Report, The Hindustan Times and more. Additionally, the Vora sisters have been keynote speakers, panelists and guests on several podcasts, TV, and radio shows for their efforts in bridging the gap between compassion, sustainability and fashion plus lending their voices to 3 books as expert ecopreneurs on vegan living and green business acumen. They have conceptualized and served as creative directors for multiple fashion for good initiatives including PETA USA, NYLON, PETA India (creating the country's 1 st ever vegan fashion lookbook which has since been introduced into the curriculum at a college in India), The Animal Hope & Wellness Center etc. Furthermore, they curate a conscious sanctuary through DR Diary- a platform they built to teach about ethical fashion, beauty, food, travel, wellness, mindfulness & more for your higher self. Wanting to bring awareness to the importance of conscious consumerism they created "The Wardrobe Diet" a useful process encouraging consideration, guiding individuals in implementing impactful purchasing decisions + how to create new variations from their current closets. As one of the pioneers of the kind fashion movement, Meg and Komie's expertness in mindful living across a varied number of industries is notably showcased in front and behind the camera providing equal value to both companies and consumers.
As the Vora sisters progress they want to continue to encourage people to unlock the key within themselves and realize they are the drivers of their dreams and reality. Reminding people that there is power in the choices they make and they can choose to make decisions that will align with their moral beliefs. They want to stay motivating others to participate in large amounts of imperfect action, never underestimating the force of individual influence. Inspiring all to impact the world in ways that will outlive them and most importantly, pave their own way by turning their head away from the conditioned world and fully embracing their uniqueness- for that will lead them to their ultimate purpose in life.
