It’s not what you say, it’s what you do that matters. As a Role Model, I like to live my life by example and influence others in and outside of the industry. In doing so I live a 100% sober lifestyle. Since a kid I have aspired to be a model, and I learned at a young age that the entertainment industry as a whole is filled with drug and alcohol addiction, which often leads to premature deaths. Heavy subject, but I don’t think the topic gets brought to light enough.
I have found along my journey that there are endless benefits and opportunities to a healthy lifestyle and it can be fun no matter what your goals are. Fitness, food, traveling, nature, music, arts, friends, and a variety of spiritual practices all play a huge role in my life today. Sobriety for me represents more than staying away from drugs and alcohol- it is about living an honest life, being an exmaple for younger models, and staying spiritually grounded and connecting with others in a helpful, useful and positive way.
I am currently a student in the National academy of Sports Medicine studying to be a personal trainer and nutritionist. I’ve found that being useful and helping others brings me the most joy so I am eager to become a fitness professional and help others achieve their goals. I believe it is by giving that you receive. You don’t lose light by giving it; your light only gets brighter. I am incredibly grateful to be apart of the Role Model team and am excited to share my story with the world.
