I was born in a small beach town in the south of Spain, in Cadiz and at the age of 9 my family moved to the US. As the years went by and I grew up, I realized I wanted to try and become a model and with the help of encouragement of my family I started meeting with agencies around NY and found a great agency. After working as a model for three years I developed some great social and listening skills which allowed for great connections and helped me develop a good work ethic. It also helped me overcome my shyness and meet some great people. I'm currently working with my boyfriend, he is the co-founder the organization 100 For All. Their goal is to bring clean potable water to families all over the world.
When I was about 7 years old we had a presentation at school about the poverty and low quality of life in India. They showed some videos and photos of sick and starving children and the reality they were living in, and that really struck me. I went home and cried to my mom for hours because I couldn't believe what was going on, I begged my mom "we have to do something! this is so unfair!". Eventually, we decided to reach out to a well-known foundation in Spain called Vicente Ferrer and god-father a little boy in India, his name is Vamsi. I felt extremely proud and happy that I was making this boys life so much easier. He sent us photos in the mail once a month, wrote us letters and painted pictures. We returned them, and it was the greatest feeling in the world. That was only the beginning of something amazing.
I want to use my platform as a way to inspire others to adapt to a more sustainable lifestyle that promotes a healthy relationship with our environment. It is so important for me to work and collaborate with brands that have a similar plan and goal for themselves. The fashion industry is not ethical in many different ways and we need to speak up and talk about what is going on! I want to inspire others and spread my knowledge to people, but most importantly I want to SHARE. I share my stories, my passions, my concerns and achievements, I've always been a strong believer in "sharing is caring" rather than TELL people what they should/shouldn't be doing it is better for me to stand in my truth and be an example and share everything with the platform I have been given as a model.
I went into the modeling world not knowing anything about fashion or the industry. Over the past three years I have learned more than ever imagined, but most importantly I discovered my passion:
COMPASSION & KINDNESS FOR ALL
This lifestyle has always been a part of me, but it took me a couple of years to find myself and accept that this is really what I want to do and put all my energy and effort on to.
