I was born and raised in Lexington, KY. I graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Merchandising, Apparel, and Textiles. When I was in the 6th grade, I remember watching the premiere of America’s Next Top Model with my mom. I’ve had an interest in fashion and modeling ever since then. But I kept those thoughts to myself because society teaches us that fashion is for girls. Plus I accepted that I didn't have the face or body for modeling.
Despite other's opinions, I love sharing style inspiration and telling stories through photography. That's one thing that makes me happier than anything. So I decided to pursue a career in fashion. My goal is to encourage men to love themselves more. I've never fit society's idea of beauty and masculinity. So I struggled with low self-esteem growing up, like many men. By becoming a model, I hope to inspire guys to be true to themselves and love their body. I also want to provide more representation and help redefine society's beauty standards. I hope that other men learn that the way we define ourselves trumps what society tells us to believe.
One thing that makes me unique is that I enjoy making people happy and seeing people smile. Life is hard at times. It's even tougher when you have people putting you down. I experienced a lot of hurt and rejection growing up. But it made me a more thoughtful and caring person. You never know what others are going through. So I always try to be kind and considerate of other people's feelings.
