Mandy DiMarzo has been a competitive and passionate athlete her whole life. She played four years of division one soccer in college, and continued to quench her athletic thirsts by competing in, and winning, marathons and half marathons. After enduring countless overuse injuries due to overtraining and under-nourishing, Mandy made a conscious decision to stop striving for the unattainable and unhealthy.
She shifted her focus instead on her body and inner athlete and all that it could accomplish, given the love it deserved. She began to educate herself on nutrition, cross training and strength training, and by teaching herself how to swim and road bike, she eventually transitioned to triathlons. She soon qualified for the 70.3 Ironman World Championships.
Almost equal to her athletic pursuits, mandy finds enormous satisfaction and joy coaching women’s soccer at both the middle school and high school level. Through that experience, she came to a profound realization and to what is now her “calling.” What had started out as her personal journey to make her the strongest version of herself, metabolized into being a role model for all the girls she was coaching.
That strong is beautiful. That muscles are powerful and pretty. And that to be the best version of yourself doesn’t involve deprivation, but abundance; Abundance of nourishment, abundance of hard work, abundance of self-love.
Mandy’s journey naturally continues at Role Models Management, with a mission and passion to be a positive influencer and promote health and wellness.
