Tristyn and Turner are the new youth faces for Timberland’s Eco-Shoe in Journeys Stores all over the country! The campaign was shot earlier this year when the brand was looking for models on a sustainable mission and found the two Role Models to be a perfect fit. We couldn’t be happier with their choices and we’re stoked to see zero-waste activist Tristyn and plant-based model Turner in these new, dope eco-shoes. A proud moment for Role Models Management!

On Timberland and their community and environmental contributions:

  • Full time Timberland employees get 40 hours of paid time to volunteer in their communities

  • From 2010 – 2015 Timberland arranged over 5,000 community service projects around the world

  • Reduce. Recycle. Rethink: At Timberland they have long term commitments to use recycled, organic and renewable materials in their products

  • From 2001 – 20018 Timberland planted over 10.2 million trees

  • Timberland will plant 50 million trees in the next 5 years: details here

Other 2020 goals:

  • 1.5 million community service hours served by employees

  • 100% of cotton for apparel: 2018 results = 75%

  • 100% PVC-free footwear: 2018 results = 97%

  • 100% Leather Working Group Silver or Gold-rated tannery leather: 2018 results = 96.2%

It’s a brand on a mission and we’re excited to follow their journey for a more sustainable industry and future.
