On November 20th, 2018, we got an IG message from a model on set with a client in LA:

“I’m so thrilled to finally be able to talk about my projects and what I stand for! It’s the first time on a job where EVERYONE talks about [a similar vision]… it feels so right!"

Carolina was shooting the new catalogue for Amour Vert and both she and Hartje (with baby) flew into LA, to model for the brand. Models passionate about positive change in the industry, and care about brands making things the right way.

"Even though I have considered myself an "environmental activist" since I was in primary school (this is not a joke, I rallied and protested and organized cleanups and campaigns since I was 7 years old) having a baby has exponentially increased my commitment to be environmentally conscious with my lifestyle and shopping habits. Shooting for Amour Vert together with my son made it ever so much more meaningful for me." Hartje told us afterwards.

When we met with the Amour Vert team in San Francisco a few weeks after the shoot it was clear that aligning issue-focused models with a mission driven brand was a huge success. The team described it as some sort of “magic” on set when all the right people are aligned and on the same page.

“We want to be able to tag the model on our Instagram and feel good about tagging her!” They added, “and we will definitely tag both Carolina and Hartje!”

This is exactly what we envisioned for our agency when we launched in early 2017, and we can’t wait to see what more magic this year has to brings.
